about sawmill camerretti

Founder of Sawmill Camerretti Craft Boutique. Currently spending most of my time teaching crochet and embroidery, I bring solid technical understanding and lots of patience and encouragement to my craft classes. I work with each student to meet their individual needs, I am constantly looking for ways of explaining techniques so that my students experience true success in their chosen craft. I nurture my students so that they become technically correct and can then follow their needle work dreams creating functional items and works

of art. I’m truly enjoying the craft renaissance that is the world over. I try to get my students to explore all aspects of the craft world, from relaxation and meditation to creating useful and beautiful items to be handed down through generations.

My students get a benefit of my professional years working in the garment center and attending FIT as well as my crochet and crafting practical time from the age of 7. The needle work gene comes from my maternal grandmother’s side of the family learning not only crochet but most needle crafts, sewing, needle point, embroidery, and knitting. Nothing gives me more joy than sharing my love of fiber.
